Here are some of my thoughts. First I see myself as liberal. Gay marriage, legalization of weed and all that. I say who cares. Neither hurt anything. Oh and global warming is real, unlike the causes of the Iraq war.
But I'm sensible, I understand that our government can't and won't ever be perfect. I'd like to see a lot less lobyist but understand there will always be pork spending. We elect our officials so they will always pander to their areas.
This bail out is stupid. This is almost soley to make sure those who have invested in firms whose stock prices sky rocketed due to the unneeded risk taking don't lose money. To them I say screw you, its the stock market, its risky and you should do a better understanding of your company. This whole thing is drove by the greed of the rich on the poor, or the those with bad credit wanting a home.
I think the government, or the American ideas have become very confused. Many (especially republicans or those with corporate ties) want less government intervention so these companies can run like rogues and make as much money as possible. Thats whats happening. Certain banks (not all because Citi, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo are still strong) became greedy and decided to fuck their futures to secure the now. They aren't the only ones, oil companies, car companies and even the dot.com companies all have done or did the same thing.
If we want the government involved so much in the market, why not just say we were wrong and let government control things like transportation and energy. Why is it that we rescue certain industries that fuck up time and time again but not others. American airlines will forever get saved but I doubt if Applebees shitted up they get saved.
The government be in control of airlines. We should be more socialist. Not a bigger government but a less bumbling. Create industries where the jobs aren't apointees at the top from politicians.
Stop letting the fucking goofy beer bong champion from your college frat into important a governement job all because you won the sixth district in North Dokata.
The government will always spend money like a young Hollywood star with a lack of talent and one good movie under their belt. We spend and spend, but we aren't spending wisely. We are spending on the few to fuck the rest. While that'll work in the short term...in the long term you'll wind up in revolutions, but you know if you care about only the now fuck our legacy.

Not bad, dude. Could use a little bit of work, but as you said, you're kind of rusty. Once the rust shakes off, I'm sure you'll excel here. Keep it up.
